Joey Bada$$ caught our ear way back in 2012 with his debut solo mixtape 1999, and has since rapidly become one of the biggest and most respected young musicians around. What we love about joey is the 90’s hip hop style that he conveys so effortlessly- he isn’t forcing the old-school sound, he brings it into the 21st century in a thoroughly organic way. With his current tour shortly reaching the UK we thought we would give you a heads up on how stellar the young Mr Bada$$ is with six of our favourite tracks.
