In the aftermath of the swingin’ 60s, a slew of long-haired young men in bell bottoms started taking their riffs (and their consciousnesses) to the next level. The tunes were primitive, self-indulgent, but raw as hell. If your dad was anything like mine as a teenager, he would quite likely have taken his questionable hair down his local to jam out to these kind of bands on a friday night…
