1921- Vulimiri Ramalingaswami, Indian medical scientist who has significant contributions in the discovery of new syndrome of Non-cirrhotic Portal Fibrosis (NCPF) and Indian Childhood Cirrhosis.
1929- Ronnie Biggs, English thief that was part of a group of 15 men in the Great Train Robbery in 1963.
1937- Dustin Hoffman, BAFTA, academy award and golden globe winning actor, known for roles such as Raymond Babbitt in Rain Man and Ted Kramer in Kramer vs Kramer
1941- George Tiller, American Physician who worked at one of three clinics that provided late-term abortion at the time. He was assassinated whilst acting as minister in a church service by an anti-abortion activist (d. 2009).
1951- Louis van Gaal, Dutch footballer and current Manchester United manager. Formerly manager of Ajax, Barcelona, AZ, Bayern Munich, and Netherlands national team.
1966- Chris Eubank, a British retired boxer who held world titles at middleweight and super-middleweight. He was world champion for over five years and undefeated for his first ten years as a professional boxer.
